Dr Sophie Kershaw
Sophie graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1999 after growing up between the UK and Perth. She worked in a small animal and wildlife practice in the UK for 18 months before heading back to the warmer shores of Perth. She worked in small animal practice for a further 2 years before heading off on a camping trip around Australia which stretched out to a year! Ending up in Melbourne she has worked in the Bayside area before moving down and working on the Mornington Peninsula.
Sophie has a special interest in acupuncture and herbal medicine and completed her International Veterinary Acupuncture Society certification in 2008. She has since completed some advanced acupuncture courses, herbal medicine training, and muscle trigger point therapy / myotherapy.
She enjoys travel and has combined holidays with volunteer work in Africa and South America. She is now working part time along with looking after her two young children and tribe of animals. When she finally gets some spare time, she would love to embark on further Western herbal and Chinese herbal medicine training.
