At Bentons Road Vet Clinic our core focus has always been to tailor our treatment plans to your pet’s individual needs, to reduce any unnecessary medications and to improve your pet’s health through natural nutrition. Unfortunately, in the wake of the new COVID-19 lockdown measures, we have had to revert back to our previous practice restrictions. Thankfully, we are still able to provide your pet with tailored veterinary care but we need to provide this service in a slightly different way.
New COVID-19 Measures:
Entering the Clinic – With the new lockdown measures we will be restricting entry to the clinic for clients attending consultations only. Consultations will be conducted with our vet and nursing teams & we will require clients to remain in the waiting room whilst this occurs.
Hand Sanitizer – hand sanitizer will be available for your use at the reception desk. Please help us stay safe & use the sanitizer when entering the clinic.
Limited Numbers of Clients in Reception Area – once again to maintain 4 sqm per person we will be limiting the number of people in the reception area to a maximum of two people. We have dedicated seats for everyone to ensure the 1.5m social distancing requirements are maintained.
Buying Food or Medications – We now have a convenient online store for all food, supplements, treats and repeat prescriptions. Phone orders are also available. We will contact you when your order is ready, so all you need to do is turn up to the clinic & collect them. Unfortunately we aren’t able to have clients in the clinic to purchase food.
We understand that COVID-19 has had an enormous effect on how we live our lives & we understand how these new restrictions place another burden on us as a community. As a clinic we have a duty to our community to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 whilst ensuring your pet’s health remains as optimal as possible during this period. The measures we have put in place will help reduce the spread of COVID-19, help maintain the safety of our staff and most importantly allow us to continue to treat your pet’s health concerns. Together we will get through this. Together we will stop the spread of this virus.
