At Bentons Road Vet Clinic our core focus has always been to tailor our treatment plans to your pet’s individual needs, to reduce any unnecessary medications and to improve your pet’s health through natural nutrition. Unfortunately, in the wake of the new COVID-19 lockdown measures, we have had to revert back to our previous practice restrictions. Thankfully, we are still able to provide your pet with tailored veterinary care but we need to provide this service in a slightly different way.
New COVID-19 Measures
- ‘No Client’ protocol – Sadly due to the government’s strict social distancing measures we have to restrict clients from entering the clinic. Although this means you aren’t able to enter the clinic, it does mean we can continue to provide your pet with the veterinary care they need.
- Reduction in Appointments – To further support social distancing and allow us time to sterilize our consultation rooms, we have reduced the number of consultations that are available. Rest assured we will continue to provide urgent medical care for your pet
- Telemedicine Consultations – Telemedicine consultations will allow you to speak directly with our Vets about your pet’s health issues. We are happy to discuss any concerns you may have and we will provide the best course of action to help treat your pet’s condition. These consultations are also fantastic for repeat medications and nutritional advice that doesn’t require a face to face consultation.
- Buying Food or Medications – We now have a convenient online store for all food, supplements, treats and repeat prescriptions. Phone orders are also available. We will contact you when your order is ready, so all you need to do is turn up to the clinic and collect it. Unfortunately we aren’t able to have clients in the clinic to purchase food.
We understand that COVID-19 has had an enormous effect on how we live our lives & we understand how these new restrictions place another burden on us as a community. As a clinic we have a duty to our community to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 whilst ensuring your pet’s health remains as optimal as possible during this period. The measures we have put in place will help reduce the spread of COVID-19, help maintain the safety of our staff and most importantly allow us to continue to treat your pet’s health concerns. Together we will get through this. Together we will stop the spread of this virus.
